What will happen after Surgery?

Patients may chose to go home after surgery. Alternatively, it is possible to stay in hospital overnight. Most patients will not experience any pain postoperatively. Occasionally the eye may be uncomfortable overnight. The following day the eye will be examined and the patient will be given eye drops to be inserted four times each day for the next one to two weeks.
